AI Interpretation & Personalized Report
The system evaluates plaque presence, composition, and distribution across coronary segments, generating a structured, reproducible output that surfaces disease often missed by traditional risk stratification or calcium scoring alone.
Benefits
- Quantitative assessment of coronary plaque burden
- Characterization of plaque composition (calcified, non-calcified, mixed)
- Segment-level analysis aligned with coronary anatomy
- Clear visual outputs designed for clinical review
- Standardized reporting to support longitudinal comparison
Why It Matters
- Traditional reports describe findings. AI interpretation measures them.
- By converting imaging data into quantifiable disease metrics, the analysis enables earlier detection, improved risk differentiation, and more informed preventive decision-making, without increasing clinical burden.
- All AI-assisted analysis is reviewed and interpreted by a board-certified cardiologist before results are shared with you.
Cardiology Consultation

- Timely action and risk reduction
- Convenient and on-demand
What to Expect
Preventi AI offers the option to review your heart scan and plaque analysis with a board-certified cardiologist, virtually and on your schedule. Our cardiologists go beyond the numbers, explaining your results in a way that is clinically sound and yet easy to understand. They can clarify:
β’ What your calcium or plaque score really mean?
β’ How your risk compares to others of the same age/gender?
β’ What actions are appropriate based on your profile?
During your consultation, your cardiologist will review your medical history, labs and imaging. They will make tailored recommendations based on your scan data and can advise on diet as well as lifestyle changes.

Know Your Risk
Heart disease is the #1 killer. Early detection saves lives.
Atherosclerosis Progression
Age 20-30: The Silent Beginning
Heart disease often starts much earlier than people think. In your 20s and 30s, fatty deposits called plaque can quietly begin building inside your arteries. High cholesterol, smoking, stress, or unhealthy eating speed up this process, yet there are usually no warning signs.
Age 40-50: Hidden Build-Up Continues
By your 40s and 50s, plaque(Fatty build up in heart arteries) has often grown thicker, silently narrowing blood flow to the heart. Standard tests like cholesterol or blood pressure may still look βnormal,β giving a false sense of security. Advanced heart scans, like the ones Preventi AI offers, can reveal this hidden risk before it becomes dangerous
Age 50-60: From Silent to Serious
Without early detection, atherosclerosis can progress into serious disease. Some people begin to feel chest tightness or shortness of breath. For others, the first sign is a sudden heart attack. Thatβs why identifying plaque years earlier is the key to saving lives.
A Hidden Threat for Millions
Nearly 1 in 2 American adults has some form of heart disease, many without knowing it. This βsilent killerβ can affect people who appear healthy on the outside. Preventi AI uses advanced imaging and AI to uncover these risks early, giving you a clear path to prevention and peace of mind.
Understand the Hidden Threat
Two individuals with same age and lipid profiles can actually have very different level of heart disease
CT-derived Advanced Plaque Analytics
Like an iceberg, the most dangerous part of heart disease often lies beneath the surface. Traditional tests may miss soft plaque hidden buildup that increases risk without warning.
Preventi AI uses advanced AI plaque quantification to uncover whatβs unseen, giving you and your doctor a clearer, deeper picture of your heart health.β
Precise Plaque Identification
Donβt guess, know. Preventi AI spots both hard and soft plaque and flags high-risk features in your coronary arteries. It brings clarity where traditional scans fall short.
Quantitative Analysis
We measure plaque the way doctors stage cancer, by type and amount. This lets us map your heart disease stage accurately and track how it changes over time.
Personalized Risk Prediction and Treatment
Imagine a health plan built around you. Thatβs what Preventi AI offers, your scan, your health metrics, your history all combined into a treatment path that fits your life and goals.

FAQs
Find answers to common questions
1: What is plaque, and why does it matter for heart health?
Plaque is a buildup of fat, cholesterol, calcium, and inflammatory cells inside the walls of your arteries. Over time, this buildup called atherosclerosis can narrow or damage the vessels that supply your heart with blood. Some types of plaque are stable, while others are soft and more likely to rupture, leading to heart attacks or other serious problems. Measuring plaque helps us detect risk early sometimes years before symptoms appear.
2: What is quantitative plaque analysis, and how is it done?
Quantitative plaque analysis uses CCTA and advanced AI analytics to quantify the exact amount and type of plaque in your heart arteries. The analysis can distinguish between calcified (hard) and non-calcified (soft) plaque, assess whether it shows high-risk features and track changes over time. Plaque analysis is a more detailed and objective way to understand your cardiovascular risk than traditional tests alone.
3: How is this different from getting a cholesterol blood test?
While cholesterol blood tests help estimate your risk, they do not show whether you actually have plaque in your arteries. It is like checking the weather forecast versus looking out the window cholesterol gives a prediction, but a CCTA scan aided by AI quantitative plaque analysis shows what is already there. Some people with normal cholesterol still have dangerous plaque buildup, and this test helps uncover that hidden risk.
4: What happens if the scan shows a high amount of plaque?
If your scan shows a large amount of plaque especially soft or high-risk plaque it means your chance of having a heart attack or other cardiac event may be higher. The good news is that this information gives you and your doctor a clear opportunity to act. Research suggests that certain medical interventions and lifestyle changes may support plaque stabilization in some individuals. Your cardiologist will discuss options appropriate for your specific results and health history. Preventi.AI also allows you to monitor your progress over time to ensure your treatment is working.
5: Can plaque actually go away?
Research indicates that certain interventions may reduce plaque volume in some patients, particularly soft plaque. Results vary by individual. Preventi.AI does not provide treatment. Your cardiologist will discuss what the evidence may mean for your specific situation.
6: Do you accept insurance?
Preventi does not bill insurance at this time. Services are offered on a self-pay basis; however, FSA and HSA funds may be used where eligible.
